Privacy on this site
Facts checked against nursingworld.org, codeofethics.ana.org and 6 more sites · Last checked Nov 6, 2026 · Not affiliated with ANCC, ANA, AONL, NLN or AACN.
There are no logins, cookies, ads or third-party tracking scripts on these pages; fonts are self-hosted on this domain. The server keeps two records: certain arrivals from outside the site, and taps on app buttons. Below is each field, taken from the code that writes it.
Arriving from elsewhere
Cloudflare hosts the pages. A visit record is written only for requests that carry an outside origin: a link followed from another website, a utm_source tag in the address, or a page fetch by an AI assistant on a user's request or by an AI search engine's crawler (crawlers that only gather training data are not logged). Clicking from one page here to another, or typing the address, writes nothing. Fields in a visit record:
- requested path, Referer header and the three utm fields (source, medium, campaign);
- IP address plus the ASN and owner name of the network it belongs to;
- Cloudflare's IP-based guess at country, region and city;
- user-agent header.
These records show which search engines, AI tools and websites bring nurses to which pages.
Inside a quiz
Scoring happens in the page script. Your picks never leave the tab and nothing is written to browser storage, so a reload starts the quiz fresh.
When you tap a study-app button
Buttons for the study apps pass through go.nurse-leader-educator-certs.com, our redirect host. iPhones and iPads continue to Apple's store, Android phones to Google Play, and laptops or desktops back to the exam's practice-question page here. Fields in a click record:
- exam key, the page holding the button, the platform sent to, and a timestamp;
- IP address, network number and owner, Cloudflare's location and time-zone estimate, and the Cloudflare location that served the tap;
- user-agent, Referer and any query tags.
The store address gets a label naming nurse-leader-educator-certs.com (Apple's ct value, Play's install referrer), plus an "ai" variant when the tap followed an AI assistant's link, so installs can be credited to this site as a source. Apple and Google then apply their own privacy terms.
Outbound links
HTML responses here set the referrer policy no-referrer-when-downgrade. Following a link to another https site, such as a handbook PDF on nursingworld.org, therefore tells that site which of our pages you left from. An http destination gets no referrer.
Opting out
Skip the app buttons and look the app up in the store yourself, and no click record exists. A browser that blocks referrers or campaign parameters also thins out visit records. With no mailbox behind the site (contact), requests to find or erase a particular record cannot be received.
